I've personally heard of as much as 150 point increases or more in only 6 weeks.
This is not a typical result, yours may vary greatly.
As a general rule you'll see a credit score range from 300-850 credit score, with the higher the better.

In recent years when going through the home loan approval process around 2006, a 700+ credit score was considered almost an automatic loan, but today in 2011, even a 750+ credit score can be tough, if you have negative items on your credit report.
